REAL PATIENT STORY
From Fear to Confidence.
Location · Indonesia
Cancer · Breast cancer
Stage · Stage 3B
HER2 · 98% positive
After discovering a lump in her breast, she faced the fear of knowing what it might mean.
A year later, a biopsy confirmed her diagnosis. From there, she began exploring a more personalised approach to her cancer journey — seeking information, understanding her options, and making decisions with greater confidence.
This is her story.
A Small Lump
Changed Everything.
The first sign was a small lump in her right breast.
At first, she did not think it was something serious. It was almost a year before she found the courage to see a doctor.
A tissue biopsy was recommended, but she was afraid of what the results might reveal and initially decided not to proceed.
Six months later, after focusing on strengthening her immune system with supplements recommended by her doctor, she decided to undergo the biopsy.
The results showed that she had Stage 3B breast cancer with 98% HER2 positivity, according to her recollection.
It Started
With a Small Lump.
When she first noticed a small lump in her right breast, she didn’t immediately seek medical attention.
After about a year, she found the courage to see a doctor. A tissue biopsy was recommended, but she was afraid of what the results might reveal.
Six months later, she decided to proceed with the biopsy. The results confirmed Stage 3B breast cancer with 98% HER2 positivity, as she recalls.
She Wanted to Make
More Informed Decisions.
After her diagnosis, she explored a range of approaches, including mRNA and tumor antigen approaches alongside immunotherapy, radiation, and chemotherapy.
For her, understanding the reasoning behind each approach helped her feel more confident and less rushed when making decisions about her care.
She believes cancer is something to be faced thoughtfully — not with fear, and not by simply following advice without understanding the evidence.
The Results Gave Her More Clarity.
At first, she wasn’t sure what to think about CTC testing.
But after receiving the results, she felt she had more information and a clearer understanding of her situation.
Her doctor explained the findings and the process in detail, helping her understand what the results meant and how they related to the next steps in her care.
For her, having that information brought a greater sense of calm — both mentally and physically.
Confidence Starts
With Understanding.
Facing cancer can bring fear, uncertainty, and difficult decisions.
For her, having more information about her cancer and understanding the reasoning behind different approaches helped her feel calmer and more confident throughout her journey.
