Synovial Sarcoma

Synovial sarcoma is a rare and aggressive soft tissue sarcoma that most commonly arises near joints, tendons, or bursae, especially in the arms and legs. Despite the name, it does not originate from synovial cells. It affects young adults and adolescents, with a distinct chromosomal translocation

Sinonasal Cancer

Sinonasal cancer refers to malignancies arising in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, including the maxillary, ethmoid, frontal, and sphenoid sinuses. These tumors are rare but often aggressive due to late diagnosis and proximity to the skull base and orbit.

Salivary Gland Cancer

Salivary gland cancer refers to malignant tumors that develop in the salivary glands, which produce saliva to aid digestion and oral hygiene. The major salivary glands include the parotid, submandibular, and sublingual glands, while minor glands are scattered throughout the mouth and throat.

There are many subtypes of salivary gland cancer, including:

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (most common)
Adenoid cystic carcinoma
Acinic cell carcinoma
Salivary duct carcinoma

Stomach (Gastric) Cancer

Stomach cancer, also called gastric cancer, begins in the lining of the stomach. It is more common in East Asia, Eastern Europe, and parts of South America. Most are adenocarcinomas, and it is often diagnosed at an advanced stage.
Subtypes include:
• Intestinal-type adenocarcinoma (more common, slower growing)
• Diffuse-type adenocarcinoma (more aggressive)

Small Intestine Cancer

Small intestine cancer is a rare malignancy that arises in the duodenum, jejunum, or ileum, parts of the small bowel. It includes several subtypes:
• Adenocarcinoma (most common)
• Carcinoid tumors (neuroendocrine tumors)
• Lymphoma
• Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs)

Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Eyelid

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the eyelid is the second most common eyelid malignancy after basal cell carcinoma. It originates from the squamous epithelial cells and is more aggressive, with a higher potential for local invasion and metastasis.

Secondary Eye Metastases

Secondary eye metastases are cancers that spread to the eye from other primary sites, most commonly the breast, lung, prostate, kidney, and gastrointestinal tract. These are the most frequent intraocular malignancies in adults, typically affecting the choroid.

Sebaceous Carcinoma of the Eyelid

Sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelid is a rare and aggressive skin cancer that originates in the sebaceous glands of the eyelid, most commonly in the meibomian glands. It often mimics benign conditions like chalazion or blepharitis, making early diagnosis challenging.
